Rolling Stones x Jose Cuervo
The Drink That Fueled a Tour
EXPERIENTIAL POP-UP
According to rock legend, the Rolling Stones were fueled by their new favorite cocktail, the Tequila Sunrise, while traveling the globe on their 1972 North American tour. Dubbed The Tequila Sunrise Tour, it inspired Jose Cuervo to celebrate that history with two Stones-themed tequilas. To bring this iconic story to life, we reimagined the band’s private plane as an experiential pop-up lounge at JFK International Airport.
Crafted from repurposed aircraft parts, the lounge became a striking centerpiece, reaching over 3 million passersby in just eight weeks and generating more than 60,000 consumer engagements. The activation blended rock-and-roll nostalgia with immersive storytelling, solidifying Jose Cuervo’s connection to the Rolling Stones’ legendary legacy.
